On Thursday, December 31st, the CMA CGM BENJAMIN FRANKLIN arrived at the Port of Oakland, her second call on the U.S. West Coast. A few hours before she docked at the Port of Oakland, she went under the Golden Gate Bridge were many people had come to attend this great moment.
Indeed, with her giant dimensions (1,300 ft. long and 177 ft. wide), she is the largest cargo vessel ever to call at a U.S. port. Unprecedented measures have been set up to welcome this giant container ship.
The CMA CGM BENJAMIN FRANKLIN left the Port of Oakland today at 2PM PDT yesterday, en route to China.
The CMA CGM Group is organizing a competition on Instagram to give the chance to three winners to visit the CMA CGM BENJAMIN FRANKLIN during her next stop on the U.S. West Coast. For more information, click here.
