Breakbulk and OOG (Out of Gauge) shipments operated by CMA CGM may appear similar but are actually quite different. The CMA CGM Group provides XXL and Project Cargo bespoke solutions that meet all clients’ needs, making the transport of the most unusual goods possible.
In December 2016, CMA CGM Australia staff, along with Miami’s operational teams, ensured the record loading of 7 luxury yachts. The CMA CGM SANTA BETTINA, deployed on the PAD (Panama Direct Line) linking Europe and the East Coast of the United States with Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands, operated this exceptional loading in Brisbane, heading towards Miami.
At the beginning of January 2017, six 25-meter-long-airport walkways were loaded in Yantian, China, on board the CMA CGM ZHENG HE, deployed on the FAL1 (French Asia Line 1) and connecting Eastern Asia to Northern Europe through the Arabian Gulf and the Mediterranean Sea. This transport operation was made possible thanks to the cooperation between CMA CGM and OPDR, the subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group which took care of the shipment between Algeciras and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, on board the feeder OPDR LAS PALMAS.
For every single Breakbulk and OOG operation, the highest degree of coordination between the sales and operational teams, in conjunction with the Group’s expertise, allow to provide high quality tailor-made logistics solutions.
